The location at the end of the Aqueduct was ideal. We had the advantage of a scenic walk along the aqueduct to the town for sightseeing. We were close enough to town to be able to walk back and forth 95-10 mins). The hotel interior was beautifully finished with a mixture of being functional, historic and luxurious. The staff were friendly and helpful with tourist info. I would not hesitate to recommend this to friends and would come back again. The free parking and internet connection were also important in choosing this hotel.
Initially, I thought I would have liked a swimming pool however as it turned out we were so busy we would not have had time to use it. This is the only reason I did not rate the facilities as excellent. We did not use the restaurant as we found it a little pricey and wanted to experience a restaurant frequented by locals. We did not know enough about the restaurant at the hotel.
location good and a comfortable hotel
dining room could have been better served
The breakfast was great, the staff were better than the 5 star hotel we stayed in in Madrid. Courtyard area very nice and overall would recomend. Not in the town centre but has free parking so ideal if tou have a car.
Excellent location with free parking which itself is a headache in some places. Loved the bodega where you could have drinks and tapas.
Would have used the restaurant but it was a bit too pricey for our tastes
staff were very helpful, room very good, food great, was different than your average city hotel as it was a monastery really enjoyed our stay
The hotel was ideally situated for exploring Segovia. The staff were very helpful and the stay was comfortable and relaxing. Excellent food too, and competively priced for similar restaurants.
excellent location, parking, breakfast - all in a lovely building
General facilities avaiable. Excellent breakfast. Good location - quiet but easy & interesting walk to city centre.
Intrusive noise of piped music - particularly that outside of our room. Poor bathroom design/layout; for instance - not much room to use the toilet. Space in bedroom not made best use of; for instance - a small bed would have made space for two bedsie units. We thought that the hotel is pretentious.
Free parking...good position off circular road into town...lovely, safe , 20 minute walk to old town....excellent healthy breakfast.....lovely staff
For a hotel that receives a lot of international travellers, it is strange that the tv is solely in spanish, and there is only spanish newspapers. THE GYM IS NOT MUCH. ALTHOUGH WE ENJOYED THE PLACE, WE THOUGHT THAT IT WAS A TAD OVERPRICED FOR WHAT IT OFFERED.
Just loved everything about it. We had a lovely bedroom just off the cloister. Enjoyed all the meals we had in the lovely diningroom. Staff were very helpful. Would love to return. Denise
I enjoyed and very much appreciated the high pressure shower head after long day of walking. The buffet breakfast was very good. Even though it was expensive to stay here, I would come back to stay here again.
The room was small and for the price, I was expecting a nice view from the window.
A very good hotel, a bit out of town but parking was available and plenty of it.
The staff were very helpful. The buildings restoration has been undertaken sympathetically with skill. We enjoyed our stay.
The bedroom was a little on the small size but this was a minor issue.
Very well located and easily up to Parador standard
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Room comfortable and warm. Secure parking included. Location ideal for walking around the town and very close to the aqueduct.
Entrance to the underground car park is tight and could be a problem for some.
